Spider Control

Spider Control That Puts Your Family First

Invicta Pest Control was founded by a family that knows firsthand what it means to protect a home. After we adopted two of our five children and saw the living conditions they came from, we made a commitment: no family should have to share their home with pests. That personal mission shapes everything we do, including how we handle spider problems across the Raleigh, NC area.

Spiders show up where other insects are already thriving. If you’re seeing webs in corners, along eaves, or tucked inside closets, it usually means a larger pest population is drawing them in. Over-the-counter sprays might knock out one or two, but they won’t address the root cause. Our team brings 20+ years of hands-on experience and a Board Certified Entomologist on staff to identify what species you’re dealing with, figure out why they’re there, and treat the problem at its source.

How We Handle Spider Problems

Most pest control companies show up and spray baseboards. We take a different approach. Our process follows a “liquid last, not first” philosophy, which means we start with targeted, low-impact methods and only bring in liquid treatments where they’re truly needed. For spiders, that means focusing on crack-and-crevice applications in the areas where they actually hide and build webs, rather than broad spraying across your living spaces. We also never use granules on the exterior of your home. Granules can be tracked inside on shoes and picked up by kids or pets. Instead, we treat the perimeter with professional-grade products that dry in about 10 to 15 minutes and create a lasting barrier against spiders and the insects that attract them.

SPIDER INSPECTION

Every spider treatment starts with a thorough inspection of your home, inside and out. We check corners, closets, garages, eaves, window frames, and any other areas where spiders tend to set up shop. Outside, we examine your foundation, landscaping, and exterior lighting (which attracts the insects spiders feed on). This lets us pinpoint where activity is concentrated and build a treatment plan around your specific situation.

INTERIOR SPIDER TREATMENT

Inside your home, we target the cracks, crevices, and voids where spiders actually live and travel. We sweep away existing webs and apply treatment to the spots spiders frequent, including baseboards, closet corners, garage edges, and behind fixtures. Our interior approach keeps product out of your living areas and away from kids and pets.

EXTERIOR SPIDER TREATMENT

On the outside, we sweep down webs from eaves, overhangs, and entry points using extension poles that reach up to 24 feet. We then treat the perimeter of your home, focusing on cracks around windows, doors, and the foundation. No granules, ever. Once the exterior treatment dries (about 10 to 15 minutes), the area is safe for your family and pets.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY

More Than Just Spider Control

Spider control is just one piece of what we do. Invicta Pest Control offers recurring pest control on a triannual schedule (three visits per year instead of the industry-standard quarterly), which means fewer chemical applications and stronger long-term results. We also handle mosquito control, termite protection, wildlife exclusion, crawl space encapsulation, and more. Because spiders follow other pests into your home, our general pest control service often reduces spider activity on its own. If something is bugging you, we can help.

Why Choose Invicta Pest Control

We’re a mom-owned, family-focused pest control company with real credentials behind us. Our team includes a Board Certified Entomologist, an Environmental Scientist, and a Wildlife Biologist from NC State. That kind of in-house expertise is rare in the pest control industry, and it shows in how we approach every job, including spider control.

Value

We invest in premium products so we can reduce the number of applications your home needs. Our triannual schedule saves you money while delivering better results than cheaper, more frequent treatments.

Service

If spiders show up between scheduled visits, so do we, at no extra charge. We also offer same-day or next-day service for urgent issues. Your satisfaction is not negotiable.

Trust

We started this company because of our own kids. That personal connection to family safety drives every decision we make, from the products we choose to the way we treat your home.

FAQs

Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?
We use targeted crack-and-crevice treatments on the inside, keeping products out of reach of children and pets. On the outside, we never use granules, so there is nothing for little hands, shoes, or paws to pick up. Once our exterior treatment dries, typically in 10 to 15 minutes, it is safe for your family and pets to be in the area.
No. You do not need to leave your home during our treatments. We use precise crack-and-crevice applications indoors, so you and your family can stay home and even watch the process. We just ask that pets be kept in a room we are not treating until we finish.
We come back at no additional cost. Our service plans include free re-treatments between your scheduled visits. If spiders or any other pests show up between appointments, we want to solve it right away, no extra charge.
We typically schedule service the same day or next day, depending on availability. We move as quickly as we can to address your spider concerns.
Absolutely. You can take a photo of the spider from a safe distance and send it to us. Our team, including a Board Certified Entomologist, can often identify the species and recommend the right treatment plan before we even visit. This saves you time and helps us come prepared on the first trip out.
